We are delighted that your delegation is in the process of registering for SOMA XLVI. One defining feature of the conference for students is the opportunity to hear from the inspirations and stories of our guest speakers. 

This year, SOMA is enriching that experience by offering a lunch meet & greet for 10 delegates with our guest speaker, or the Minister of Foreign Affairs. More information is available at the bottom of this page.


Registration for SOMA XLVI | Due January 20th

School Registration and Delegate applications are posted above. The delegate fee is $110. There is no school registration fee. Both a school registration form, completed by a staff advisor, as well as a delegate application for each delegate nominated, must be submitted. Each delegate should only submit one application. If any changes need to be made after the submission, please send an email to with your name and the change you would like to be made. After your school registration you will receive a confirmation email and an invoice for your delegation's registration fees within a week. SOMA XLVI Scholarship

This year SOMA is delighted to offer 10 delegates a fully paid scholarship to our forty-sixth annual conference. This new scholarship is available for both first time attendees in Model United Nations, and previous delegates, who demonstrate a passionate involvement in their communities or in world issues, but may not be able to afford the full price of registration. 

We ask delegates applying to the SOMA XLVI Scholarship to first apply regularly with their delegations, to ensure that a SOMA committee and country will be reserved for the delegate. The deadline for applying to the scholarship is also January 20th, and acceptances shortly after. If a full payment upfront is not financially possible for the applicant, please email
